Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the successful completion of the assigned projects within the specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with a proven track record as a site supervisor or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
3. Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
5. Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with project managers, contractors, and team members.
7. Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and accountability.
9. Proficiency in using construction management software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools is preferred.
10. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on the site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
2. Manage and oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process.
3. Conduct regular inspections to monitor the progress of construction work and ensure quality control.
4. Review project plans and blueprints to understand project requirements and identify any potential challenges or modifications needed.
5. Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, allocate resources, and establish work priorities.
6. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including daily progress reports, work logs, and incident reports.
8. Coordinate the delivery of construction materials and equipment to the site, ensuring they are in compliance with project specifications.
9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among all project stakeholders.
10. Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries on the construction site.
